Boyd Crystal Art Glass : Patrick the Balloon Bear

Patrick the Balloon Bear is named after Bernard F. & Sue Boyd's grandson by son John.

Patrick was introduced in 1989 as a limited edition 30 color series and was retired in 1994.

From 1994 - 2002 a total of 10 annual retired editions were released. Each of these bears has the letter R to designate it as a retired piece.

In November 2002 the second series of Patrick the Balloon Bear was introduced. Each bear of this series is marked with the number 2.
